MISO is now on Teknisk Ukeblad (TU) -the biggest Norwegian engineering magazine.

The EU project MISO led by NILU has developed new solutions for monitoring local emissions of greenhouse gases in hard-to-reach areas.

MISO consortium has been working for over three and half years to develop a solution that allows researchers and stakeholders to effectively monitor local emissions of greenhouse gases in hard-to-reach areas such as Arctics and Wetland.

“By using stationary measurements such as towers and measurement chambers in combination with drones, we believe that we have developed a solution that requires minimum on-site intervention when deployed. This aims ultimately to increase geographical coverage of areas with measurements and long time series availability of in situ GHG observations”, says project coordinator Tuan-Vu Cao to Teknisk Ukeblad (TU).
