Our LoRaWAN-based drone data collection system integrates long-range wireless communication with low-cost computing to deliver a flexible, reliable, and real-time environmental data acquisition solution.

Key benefits:

  • By leveraging LoRaWAN technology, Raspberry Pi-based edge computing, and drone-mounted deployment, the platform offers a scalable and autonomous approach to collecting smart data in challenging terrains.
  • The solution includes P2P optimisation, data segmentation, and selective transmission to enhance performance and transfer a high amount of data within the performance constraints of LoRaWAN.

Characteristics:

The entire setup is delivered as a self-contained image, which is ready for immediate deployment and data collection via a Raspberry Pi. Once powered, the system automatically configures the gateway, server, and network stack, with no additional configuration. This makes it ideal for rapid testing, field trials, and scalable sensor deployments.
